WhatsApp is always trying to enhance the Windows beta. WhatsApp is introducing the ability to transmit view-once images, videos, and voice notes on the Universal Windows Platform version of the app while the firm is still working on adding new features for WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop!
We saw the capability for receiving view-once photographs and videos in the post about the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2212.2.0 upgrade, but sending them was not possible. The latest WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2221.4.0 upgrade has allowed us to finally confirm that this is indeed feasible.
When transmitting photographs and videos, there is now a view once button. Additionally, WhatsApp is now allowing audio notes to be sent! The addition of this capability may ultimately convince more people to migrate to the UWP version.
Make sure you download the most recent beta version of WhatsApp from the Microsoft Store since these two additions are being released today.
