WhatsApp has recently released a new update for iOS via the App Store, bringing the version number up to 22.17.77.
Within the official changelog, WhatsApp announces the ability to safely migrate chat history from Android to iOS!
After a long time, WhatsApp has finally issued a new update on the App Store available to all users on iOS 12 and subsequent versions. WhatsApp notes the option to migrate your chat history from Android to iOS for the first time in the official changelog for the 22.17.77 stable update:
the changelog states that the upgrade delivers some news for everyone: Aside from the increased file size restriction of up to 2GB and the option to establish groups with up to 512 users, the official changelog also notes that you may now transfer your conversation history from Android to iOS.
