On WhatsApp’s Desktop beta, users will be able to select multiple chats

A new feature being developed for WhatsApp Desktop beta is the ability to report status updates, but that is not all we covered last week: Another tool to assist users in managing their chat list is being developed by WhatsApp. We’re discussing a future version of the WhatsApp Desktop beta that will allow you to pick numerous chats!
The WhatsApp team continues to develop new features for the web/desktop client in addition to upgrading the native apps for Windows and macOS.

When this feature is made available, a new “Select Chats” action will be added to the chat menu. You can mute a discussion or label them all as read or unread when you choose a particular conversation. If you use WhatsApp Desktop, you’ve surely observed that performing those tasks for several chats might be challenging. However, WhatsApp hopes to make it simpler in the future with the help of this feature.
A future update to the WhatsApp Desktop beta will include a feature that will allow users to pick numerous chats. Although we don’t know when it will be launched, we’ll put another article on our page as soon as further information about this function becomes available.
