Although scheduling Instagram posts through Creator Studio has been available to users for some time, this test is the first time schedule has been made available directly within the Instagram app.

Users will be able to activate the new Schedule this post toggle, located under Advanced Settings while creating a post or Reel. They can then decide the date and time to publish the post after that.
Under the new Scheduled Content section, users will be able to control or view forthcoming scheduled posts.

According to a Meta spokesperson: “We are testing the ability to schedule content with a percentage of our global community.”
No word yet on when or if the feature will go live, but stay tuned.

The launch date hasn’t been announced yet, but stay tuned.
