After releasing the communities tab to certain users on the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.3 update, there is another nice announcement today: WhatsApp keeps working on the privacy option that helps us conceal our online presence by creating the functionality for a future release of WhatsApp Desktop beta!
Mark Zuckerberg stated two weeks ago that WhatsApp will be releasing three new privacy features soon: previous group participants, screenshot blocking, and the option to choose who can see when you’re online on WhatsApp. The WhatsApp Desktop beta dev team has recently finished building this functionality!
this part is finally ready even if the functionality is still labeled as under development. Only the people you choose will be able to see when you’re online on WhatsApp when WhatsApp adds the option to adjust this setting to Android, iOS, and Desktop.
Since this feature has finally been developed for all of their platforms (WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop), it shouldn’t take long to get it enabled for our accounts. There will be an announcement when the feature is rolled out to users, so make sure to keep your WhatsApp version up to date in the meantime.
