Unmentioning feature

Twitter began developing a special tool that would let users untag themselves from tweets in June 2021. Twitter said that it started testing it on April 8th, 2022.

Twitter released a GIF that showed how to “unmentioned” yourself from a conversation.
It is unclear whether the functionality is being tested for a global user base or only in particular nations.

Elon Musk is not part of the board

Elon Musk has decided not to join the Twitter board of directors, according to a statement issued on April 11 by Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. Days after Agrawal had indicated that the Tesla CEO would participate, an announcement was made.

“Elon Musk has decided not to join our board. Here’s what I can share about what happened. The Board and I had many discussions about Elon joining the board, and with Elon directly. We were excited to collaborate and clear about the risks. We also believed that having Elon as a fiduciary of the company where he, like all board members, has to act in the best interests of the company and all our shareholders, was the best path forward. The board offered him a seat,” said Agrawal in the statement he shared on Twitter.
