In addition to adding new functionality to its beta versions for Android, iOS, and the desktop, WhatsApp continues to work on features for its Windows beta software that have previously been included in its iOS and Android versions. The beta version of WhatsApp’s Universal Windows Platform client now has the option to stop and restart voice notes!

During voice note recording, a new pause button appears. The user could stop recording by pressing a button that was present in the prior release. Users were able to hear the voice note before transmitting it, but they were unable to record any more of it. This functionality, which is previously present in WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and desktop, has finally been added with the most recent version. This indicates that WhatsApp is putting a lot of effort into introducing the same functionality to its other applications that have previously been introduced.
All beta users now have access to this functionality after downloading the 2.2223.11.70 upgrade from the Microsoft Store.
