WhatsApp has released a new update via the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version number up to 2.22.25.20.
What’s new in this version? WhatsApp is developing view once text messages for a future software version!
WhatsApp is working on extending the ability to send view once text messages to a future version after releasing the newest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.25.20 update on the Play Store!
A new special button has been added next to the conversation bar. If you look closely at the send button, you’ll discover a lock symbol within it: this indicates that you’re sending a view once text. As you might expect, the view once text will vanish from the discussion when the receiver reads it, making it impossible to see it again. Because this function is still in development, the arrangement of the view once text bubble and the send button may change before the feature is released.
This is highly beneficial when you give sensitive material and want to promptly erase them from the recipient’s phone for increased privacy; you don’t even need to delete the see once text for everyone because it will be gone automatically. View once text messages cannot be forwarded or copied, as with view once photos and videos. Screenshots should also be prohibited, however we will notify you when a subsequent update is available.
The option to send view once text messages will be added in a future WhatsApp beta for Android version. When this feature becomes accessible, an article will be posted on this page, and you will be notified.
