WhatsApp Beta for Android Introduces Audio Chats in Latest Update

WhatsApp is constantly improving its features and functionality to make the app more engaging and user-friendly. In the latest update, version 2.23.7.12, WhatsApp is testing a new feature called audio chats. The feature will allow users to initiate real-time audio conversations with other users through the app.
The update includes a new waveforms icon that will be added to the chat header, which users can tap to initiate an audio chat. While there is no official information available yet about how this feature will work, the screenshot of the feature suggests that users will be able to view audio waveforms while navigating between their conversations.
It is not clear when this feature will be available to all users, as it is still under development. WhatsApp will likely release the feature in a future update of the app. Audio chats will provide users with another way to communicate with friends and family on the platform, which already offers text messaging, voice calls, and video calls.
