WhatsApp beta for Windows gets new call link feature for quick call sharing

WhatsApp has launched a new update for its Windows app, introducing a unique call link feature for voice and video calls. The call link feature can be accessed within the calls tab, allowing users to easily create a unique link for each call they initiate. The link can be shared with others, providing a convenient way to invite them to join a call without having to add them to your contacts.

With this feature, users can create one-time calls with individuals they may not know very well, while also having the option to share the link with people outside of their WhatsApp contacts. The call link feature ensures that each link is unique, and only individuals with access to the link can join the call. This new feature is part of WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to provide its users with improved communication options and make it more accessible to a broader audience.

The new call link option has been rolled out to beta testers who have installed the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2307.1.0 update, available on the Microsoft Store. It will be gradually rolled out to more users in the coming days, making it easier for everyone to use this feature and enjoy more efficient communication through WhatsApp.
