In the same beta version that was made available on the Microsoft Store last week, WhatsApp also included rapid reply alerts, allowing users to respond even while the app is minimized.
Numerous new features are being added to WhatsApp’s native Windows app. The WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2227.2.0 update also redesigned the gallery display when accessing media after adding functionality for reacting to messages even while the program is closed:
The revamped gallery view is really reliable to use and is very similar to the one used on WhatsApp Desktop. A few beta testers have also reported significant speed improvements, and recently used stickers are now synchronized between the desktop app and the phone app.
Thanks to all the improvements that have been made, we can see why WhatsApp is thinking of improving this app over WhatsApp Desktop. It is true that there are still a few features that need to be added, but doing so will help persuade more users to switch to the native app.
