Following on from our previous post, in which we announced the ability to set up cover photos to enhance a business profile, which is planned to be released in a future update on Desktop beta, we can now announce that WhatsApp is now rolling out the ability to rename linked devices to business accounts that use the most recent versions of WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS!
We may now rename connected devices: this is feasible immediately after connecting a new device to our WhatsApp account, or later by going to WhatsApp Settings > Linked Devices > Device > Name.
This functionality is now available to WhatsApp beta users. Once you obtain the functionality, make sure to upgrade WhatsApp to the most recent beta build available, and if it is not available for your account, please wait for several further updates as it will be provided to more people in the following weeks.
