WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging app, is set to introduce a new feature that will allow users to share their status updates to Facebook Stories without leaving the WhatsApp platform. The new feature, which is currently being tested in the beta version 23.7.0.75 for iOS, will make it easier for users to share their status updates with a wider audience and save time and effort in manually sharing them.
The feature will be optional and disabled by default, ensuring that users always have control over their status updates. Users will be able to enable the option within status privacy settings, allowing them to choose which status updates are shared on Facebook stories. Furthermore, users can easily disable the feature at any time.
With the large user base of Facebook Stories, this feature is likely to be a hit among WhatsApp users who want to share their updates with a wider audience. It is expected that a similar feature for Instagram Stories will be introduced in the future.
WhatsApp has not yet announced the release date for this feature, but it is expected to be available in a future update.
